Magical Menorca

... the place. Maybe this just stems from the time that we owned the island in the 18th Century?

Menorca is definitely a holiday island, it is much smaller than its neighbour, Majorca, seems far less developed and where this has taken place the villas or hotels seem to be on a much smaller, or higher quality scale. This might just be a 'rose tinted spectacles' view but it seems a pleasant place to spend some time and maybe with us being out of the main ...

Dragonera

... Spanish omelette with unlimited sangria...!! Although I think I only managed two glasses (honestly!). The island is uninhabited, except for thousands of small lizards, who were very welcoming! After school today, James drove us to Coloni Sant Jordi, a pretty little port, for a bite to eat. We had intended to explore a nearby beach which was recommended by a local, but after having had quite a few days of exploring recently, we drove straight to Es Trenc beach instead. People had told me that this was their favourite beach on the island... It's definitely nice. A very long, narrow beach with nice sand and sea. However, it seemed to be having ...

Day 39

A travel blog entry by 4girls on Aug 08, 2014

Sleeping in until noon we had to quickly get ready to meet the group for our canoe session. We walked to the town square where our tour manager found out we had already missed the bus as she tad been told the wrong time. This meant one thing...Off to Burger King for breaky. We all got taxis to Cara Morell beach and enjoyed the afternoon in the beautiful water until Alana got stung by a jelly ...
