    ... taking for me coming down the steep bank on my bum, not very lady like I have to say...

    We stopped off before we went into the tunnel to take some more photos and a drink. No Queues so we went straight in, they are very strict on speed and no over taking.

    After which seemed for ever, we entered Italy. Again ...

    ... for the photo taking opportunity. I met more people on Mont Blanc then anywhere else in France. Great fun. The taxi driver speaks ten words of English but enough to ask me where I am from --- "USA" is always my response just so that I can see the expression on their face change when I say "Texas" and predictably he breaks out in a wide toothy grin and at the next light he does a little pistol shootout in the air while making the "pishshew," "pishshew," "pishshew" sound effects.     ... spent 2 days travelling back to UK and again decided to take the back roads and avoid the tolls.     ... Italy's liberation from Mussolini. There are celebrations planned in the bigger cities but there doesn't seem to be anything here. Tomorrow is also about 20k.
