Started our morning off with a tour along the Dieppe beach. The beach is not at all what I thought it would be - no sand - large rocks form the beachfront area. It's not really easy to walk on either. The Dieppe memorial to Canadians is very close to the beach. It is also directly below a very large castle built in 1440. Built for the King at the time. So cool.....very, very old. We were then given a couple of hours to tour the French market. At the market we could see ...

... price of menus as we walked around the town. The prices had certainly risen, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that Le Jardin, which had always been expensive in the past, had a Menu du Jour which was priced at €18 for two courses. We eventually got to Camping Stoneham in Le Touquet about 5 mins before the Office opened for the afternoon. We had already reserved 2 pitches luckily, because they ...

Today I am thankful for my loving family!!!

PS we are headed back to Paris sometime tomorrow afternoon and I'm looking forward to doing some downtown sight seeing, visiting with my cousin Elise and catching up in sleep! I definitely feel like sleep is a luxury only afforded to those who's family members all live in the same time ...

This morning I took a nice warm bath and then ate some bread and cheese and drank some coffee for breakfast. I swear I've eaten so much in this trip I feel like a balloon right now, but I know I will work it all off once I start my yoga teacher training. Today it is a little cloudy outside so I haven't ventured down to the beach just yet, so I think I'm going to meditate on what I should do today.
