... ball field where a few young tykes were running the bases and tossing a ball around. Walking to our seats I noticed the blending theme continued by having a very open air design so you could see the field and the downtown buildings simply by swiveling your head. The stadium just felt like San Diego. It is far and away the leader for favorite stadium right now. So much character and thought in the design.

Sadie and I had dinner at a walk-up stir fry and ate outside. She likes to go to restaurants with us, but finding dog friendly dining is not easy. In Mexico, many times you don't have a choice. There will be a dog under the table whether you wanted one or not.

As soon as we were off the train in LA we were back on another one to take us to San Diego. Luckily this train had wifi and some epic views along the coast of California. The place that we stayed was also amazing. A huge 8 bedroom house overlooking the city with a big garden/patio and hot tub.
