Day Twenty One - Finding Historic Highway 101
... side seafood restaurant. After lunch, I saw four different people having a siesta in there cars in this shady parking lot. For me, it was time to climb on the I-5. The coastal road was not available while crossing through Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. In terms of road condition, this section of the I-5 was by far the worst Interstate that I have ever travelled. It made me wonder what kind of financial position is this State must be in; oh yes, now ...
San Diego: A Whale's Vagina

Pre-vacation, vacation
... and outdoor patios (with wifi), lots of sun (with a sunburn on the first day - I've been mindful of my sunscreen since), good food, cooking nights, red wine, and most importantly good company. I've been catching up with the likes of KT and CP and, of course, Peppers - who seems to be, quite amusingly, more dog than kitty. I checked out the San Diego Zoo today, haven't been since I was a little lass... it ...
