... is a chance it won't make it back to us in time, lucky we have the Australian passports which only took ten days to issue. The boring holiday jobs are slowly being ticked off the list, the van has a home just need to sort out the paperwork for registration, Sharon has been the doctors and we have decided to get any immunisations we need in Kuala Lumpur, (about 70% cheaper), I have some insurance quotes we need to act on and the world banking is almost in place.

So it's a pretty bitter sweet feeling now, I'm obviously thrilled not to be stuck, able to get back with no extra cost and able to pay my dad back as soon as I get home. But right now is just a series of silver linings to keep myself from getting upset about the situation.
Things I've been telling myself are that I can get back and save up more quickly, I won't be as far in to my overdraft, the time difference to America will be less difficult ...

... world sees us as being somewhat stiff and uptight as a nation. It's rare to see public displays of affection back home, definitely to the extent that you get out here anyway.
