    ... sunny day which made the views all the more special. Before we knew it night had fallen and we'd made it back to our motel in Halls Gap.     ... little, tiny, black blobs coming up in the waves. They began to come in groups of 3-5 penguins at a time. The tide is about 4ft from the beginning of the grass so it took the first group about 15 minutes to get all the way across - they kept running back into the water in fear of predators.     ... a waddle about sticking its long nose in the ground searching for more ants. It waddled off down the hill and out of sight, could still hear it though. We walked on to the top of the waterfall, it wasn't flowing a a great rate, but more than the last one we saw.
    Wandered back down and Ari spotted another Echidna snuffling about on the dirt above us, we watching it for a while then wandered back down to the car.

    ... so the three adults and four children set off.

    Our starting point was about a two hours drive away from Clayton. Elizabeth and Kate traveled with Christine, and the boys came with us. As with many scenic drives, you have to survive the main highway first before you get there, but the moment you see the coast, it is breathtaking.
