    So we head to San Antonio only to be caught in what we thought was rush hour traffic... turns out it was the traffic created by the parade for the San Antonio Spurs after winning the NBA. Brad said later he was caught up in the celebration when he arrived in San Antonio earlier in the week ...

This luggage we bought last year was a mistake, the bags can easily hold 70 pounds! 50 pounds hardly fills them up 3/4 of the way and all our stuff slides around...thinking of stuffing mine with blown up zip lock bags.     This trip begins with a long 4 hour drive to the port of Galveston, Texas. On the trip we stop at McDonalds for some breakfast and later arrive at our Discount Cruise Parking place. It's at a gas station, but the parking is secure and clean. So we hop on the free shuttle and see our huge ship for the first time. Wow!!! It is gigantic! 12 public decks high.     ... pork belly & kalbi for lunch. It was delicious! 1400. Went outside to sit & ended up chatting with Cô Beth. We went for a walk & talked for a while. She really needed someone to talk to.
