Tereza and Petr do a wonderful job of pushing us to think outside the box. Most of their directions are given in Czech, so I have to rely on others to interpret for me. I think I would have a hard time understanding Petr even if I did speak fluently... He is usually very excited about what we're doing, and he speaks very quickly.

... bright and early Monday morning. After about five hours of class, the girls and I got lunch. Then we went to a lecture about the death of the Czech Newspaper, and the state of their media in general. It was a fascinating talk, but I didn't get a good enough grasp of it to state my opinion or even give any facts... It was a bit over my head. It definitely piqued my interest, and I am excited to learn more about my own country's media.

I decided not to say what I really do, e.g. change management, just because I'm tired having to explain it. Now I realise, as a writer I get more questions:
"What kind of writing do you do?"
"What's your novel about?"
"Have you published already?"
