Cruise round up and Sydney
... Our trivia team (6 people) all of us from BC, won twice on the cruise. Fortunately, our team had a very knowledgeable man from Cobble Hill on Vancouver Island, who provided the ‘smarts’ for our team.
Although there were 2 pools on board, we didn’t use them at all, nor did we lie out in the sun. I think our days of sunbathing are over!!
We have now spent 3 days in Sydney and we are soon to head down ...
Sydney shenanigans

Having settled in, we wandered over to the Rocks and went to "Wolfies" for a lovely meal in the open air with heavenly views.

Primer día en Sydney
... 2 "viewpoints" o puntos donde se toman las mejores fotos de la ciudad. El primero de ellos está situado en un parque, por lo que tuvimos tiempo de tumbarnos a descansar en la hierba hasta la puesta de sol. Luego, tomamos el ferry a Milsons Point desde donde nos hicimos, ya de noche, la foto que os mostramos.
Vuelta al hotel, cena en un KFC, y ahora, a dormir.

Goon'n it in Sydney
... was also with a tour from the hostel we done a walk around town to see all the tourist attractions, this was also a good walk we walked for about 4 hours! we seen Darling harbour and the submarine, then we went around town and seen westfield the highest point in Sydney, then we went down to the harbour and seen the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House was amazing too see, felt like we were very far away from our small town of Kirkcaldy. G'day mate!
Made it to Sydney! The flight wasn't terribly interesting for the most part, just read and talked to the guy next to me for an hour or so. We landed here at 9am local time (or 11am NZT). I've attached a photo of a Boeing 737-800 owned/leased by Qantas as this is what I flew on this morning.
It was really sad leaving but the time will go by fast enough and I'll be home again with the people ...
