    ... and pain. Unfortunately, he is not able to move his left toes nor his left leg. Late this afternoon, he finally moved his left arm and hand to touch his face. He is weak on his left side and may need to be placed in rehabilitation. Too early to tell. He is exhausted and wants to sleep.     ... by Michigan law. He was only in the hospital for one night, two days. We were able to attend Bill's niece's wedding downstate last Saturday, which Bill really enjoyed. A team of doctors met to give us options going forward. Initially, they thought both tumors could be treated with radiation. However, early this morning, our Radiation Oncologist (who was on vacation last week) called to say they now recommend surgery ...

    6-22-14 – Sunday

    After doing early morning laundry while the grandsons slept, we packed up camp and headed north along the Lake Michigan eastern coast. We heard about a house made out of 60,000 bottles on the road ahead and decided we needed to detour shortly and visit this oddity at Kaleva, MI, a quaint little town with lots of history.

    Our destination for the day was Empire, MI, a short 87 mile trip and The Indigo Bluffs ...
