    ... of the mountain. From a distance, they look like they are stacked on top of one another. Once you get closer, you can see little side roads from the main road, which will lead the residents to the different areas of the village. We have found in our travels through Europe, most cities, towns and villages have squares in them. This seems to be where the locals gather to socialize.

    We decided to dine in Skiathos town last night. Firstly to check that the ATM worked (it did) and to see what the town had to offer. Well. Clearly aimed at the tourist with a bit of spare cash. Lots of little boutique shops with Parisenne price tags. We did not succumb to the retail urge to purchase stuff just because it was there.
