A lovely walk along the beach in the wind, blew away the cobwebs. We then set off back up the hill to find a shop to buy milk and bread. We stopped at a village called Tsagarada where the plane tree in the centre is said, 'To be one of the largest and oldest in Greece'. We managed to get our few supplies at the local shop. . We then continued along the main road to Milies, where the 1895 narrow gauge railway begins/ ends, The train is known locally as 'The little train'. There is ...

... on Thessaly would have much more to do in it, and looked like it was just a 40 minute train ride away. We walked around town and finally found the train station, but everything was in Greek. The lady at the counter spoke a little English and told us we needed to take a bus instead, and pointed us in the direction of the bus station. We then made it to the bus station and had the same problem...EVERYTHING was in Greek. The guy at the counter here had a map ...

... owned by two brothers that made most of their jewelry that had very beautiful and unusual pieces. Dennis found a pair of earrings that he liked and insisted that I get them. I protested but finally acquiesced to please him.

We then took the tender back to the ship and had a delicious lunch with Ron who opted not to go ashore because his back was bothering him. He stayed on board and soaked in the hot tub.
