... in. We hoped to get on a walking tour but turns out today is a public holiday so it wasn't on and hardly any shops were, just the tourist ones. We decided to do our own walking tour of Ghent, we walked along the canals, had Belgium fries, saw so many old beautiful houses, St Michael's bridge, cathedrals, churches, the belfry and a castle. ... is decorated with stuffed monkeys swinging on a rope. We love it here! Taking today as another relax day as we go back into touring mode tomorrow. We cruised the neighbourhood and are going to head out to the garden with some lovely Belgian beer and enjoy the sunshine while we can!

... a 500ml Hoegarden and sat down in-front of one of the TVs. When the commercials ended he discovered, to his dismay, that not the Olympics but music videos were being displayed. Working his way through his beer, Speck then returned and waited with Caroline for their flight to begin boarding. While waiting in line to board Speck inevitably found another Penn State football fan. WE ARE PENN STATE! And we are everywhere.
