The weather is just beautiful. We are enjoying the high 60's.

I am fighting a head cold, so we walk around the London Bridge area and take a leisurely drive home exploring the area.

At that point, Joshua Tree was firmly out of the picture and because of the continuing hot, hot, damn hot weather we decided that all our stops needed electricity. ... by solar energy stored in batteries and run thru inverters. There are tall structures on the land called cooling towers that operate without fans – when you wet the pads on top, cool air falls and you get cool airflow. Seemed like something we had to see.

Well, our two weeks in Lake Havasu have flown by. Tomorrow (Monday), we are off to Eva &
Doug’s place in Yuma for a week. Am excited to see my big sister. ;)

... amazing!

Along with that they had bi-planes coming by three times a day, and sky jumpers with the parasail type shoot jumping out at 13,000 feet as many as 13 and coming over the fair grounds (yes, I did try to sign up to make the jump, but I waited too long and they were full - I'll have to save that for the next time)! We heard that this was the first time that the weather was perfect for the launches and every one went up!
