In previous years we've make it the first stop on our way down to Arizona. Like all the State parks now though it's difficult to get in but we were lucky!

Cindy and I headed out for three nights in Lake Havasu, AZ on Saturday. Chris and Stephanie planned to go with us, but were delayed by a day because of a relative's surprise birthday party. The weather is meant to be turning bad over the next couple of days due to hurricane Odile so fingers crossed we don't get flooded out in Phoenix.
