    ... pancakes, 8 pieces of bacon and toast. It was incredible value for money, as with the majority of southern Portugal.

    As the day was rather overcast and good walking weather as it wasn't too hot. I decided I wanted to walk to the point of Faro in which looked out towards Morocco.     ... seem to speak some English, but they are delighted when do don't have to - RESPECT! Yay Kate! Very warm welcomes and huge smiles seem to be the default attitude here. Although it's hot - about 30 degrees each day we were here - the city has thousands of trees and gorgeous shady squares where the temperature drops by 10 degrees and a refreshing breeze cools the happy flaneur at every turn ....oh joy and rapture ...

    ... best 5 euros I have spent) and enjoyed the next 6 hours on the beach swimming and sleeping. The only downside is that the water was actually very very cold but the burning sun in the blue sky above more than made up for that. Dina was more than happy to jump into the crystal waters as she hadn't been for a swim in almost 4 weeks since we were in Croatia.
