    ... some sushi and found that it really was a great place. Paul got a baked banana sushi called either "monkey business" or "monkey brains". He ordered "monkey business" which did not have crab, but we think they brought him "monkey brains" which had crab and avocado. At any rate, it was a most amazing roll of sushi and Mom tried to get the recipe from them. She did take a carryout menu so she has an ingredient list. We can't wait to see if she can figure it ...

    112 miles but not so bad as pretty much down hill. Thankfully. Appeared to be a Ride the Rockies group of nearly 2000 cyclists on part of our route. Good to have lots of cyclists out. Sure the trucks wouldn't agree. Amazing descent down the mountain cruised at 40 miles/hr nicely. Left snow capped mountains behind us then joined the Arkansas River. Beautiful. Stopped for lunch in Canon City. Stumbled on amazing lunch. Michaels on Main Street. Recommend it ...

    ... the stunning scenery in all its glory.

    One of the traditions here is that everyday at 3pm they serve hot chocolate chip cookies at the base of the Centennial Chair Lift. These are delicious and everyone makes their way down at that time to enjoy some. We were no exception. They really are delicious and I am not normally a lover of choc chip cookies but these were special. It could also be that we were hungry after skiing.

    We began today with a delicious "campermade" breakfast of eggs, bacon, grits, biscuits and cantaloupe. Since we are usually up and on our way with something quick to eat, this was a treat. We left the KOA in Moab and drove to Arches National Park. I should have known better than to complain about cool/cold temperatures recently – it was almost 100 degrees and only 11am!
