The song' "I owe my soul to the company store" came to mind as we saw pictures of the "company store" as well as how they even made their own nails and the barrels to put them in. Businesses today rely on multiple suppliers but that is not how it was in the heyday of the mill.

    ... is just as flat as Nebraska and we were still seeing miles and miles of corn. What is almost unnoticeable is the rise in elevation.
    As we got closer to Limon we came up on a HUGE wind farm. It went on and on for miles (just like the corn) and there had to be hundreds of the windmills. The pictures cannot do justice to their size.

    ... style dinner. For the kids nothing trumped playing in the snow and building snowmen. What is the phrase "The best things in life are free." When it comes to the girls and snow that is true. They eat it, roll in it, climb in it. Fall in it, throw it etc... Such fun for three Florida girls!
