      ... it rained. off to cedar key.

      cedar key is a funky fishing village. people are "laid back". lots of artists. nothing fancy. the rv park we are staying at "sunset isle rv " is a small family owned park. it has a restaurant which has good food. and everyone is very friendly. the sites are very small, except for ours . i think our site is the best(17). the park had a big thanksgiving potluck, but we had dinner with our new friends, jim and judy. judy ...

      ... wines and ended up purchasing their Merlot. Out back of the winery they had built a pond that was home to ducks, geese and koi fish. The gentleman in the store pointed out that the ducks all migrate down for the winter and they had an Apricot Duck which are extremely rare.       ... to us a 70 year old woman hopped right into a tandem kayak with her son and off they went. Feeling the shame, Becky let out a few cursewords and waived us off and we were finally situated for an afternoon of sun and fun.
