... told us there was a water tower at the beginning that we could climb on and eat our bagels. As we got closer up the trail to the tower, we noticed a large amount of water running down our trail. Missing was the diversity I'm used to finding in a large metro area. Our hotel was right beside pioneer park, which is a pretty looking block of grass and walkways but also seems to be the hub of homeless activity in the city.
