... ascended and decended back to the Centrum. It was a lot of fun, but my throat was getting worse, and I really wanted to get better before we arrived in Hawaii, so reluctantly it was an early night for me.

The seas are a bit rough today, about 2 and a half metres, but I guess that is nothing compared to the huge swells leaving Sydney, or the 8 metre swells leaving Wellington. The temperature outside is 28 degrees and the Captain tells us that the water temperature is ...

... Stop', which Molly informed us we could turn over if we wanted anything. Genius! We didn't need to use it though as they were all really efficient.

... were a bit younger I'd love to take surfing lessons.
To finish off our day we walked down the street to an incredible Korean restaurant. We each had our favorite Korean dish and ate till we couldn't hold any more. It was a great way to end our last day in Hawaii.
My next post may be a couple of days from now. We'll be in Australia, on the other side of the international date line, in another hemisphere.

... had 3 water slides (and a fourth but it was closed) and 2 hot tubs. It was very fun to slide but soon my sister and I felt like there was more to be done. So we decided to rent paddle boards. A paddle board is just like a surf board except instead of using waves for power you stand on it and use an extended paddle to paddle.
