Few days before departure they announced a tropical storm with potential threat of hurricane. My boyfriend was very concerned about it, but I was convinced that it will not happen. So on the day of departure (Friday), we got to London Heathrow airport, where I was over the moon when I found out where we going. ... sitting and watching the waves lap over while people try to board on them. We were right by the sea wall that stood about three metres above the sea and people were jumping and bombing into the waves. It was very stupid as it was so shallow still and sometimes the wave would disappear and they'd be jumping into like half a metre of water. S my nerves were on edge - would I have to perform an urgent rescue of the spinal type? ...
