Nokomis Beach and Pelican Alley
Today we traveled south to Venice. Great weather in the low 80's and sunny and I was craving a beach, shelling and SUN!!! Water was comfortable. Lots of shells collected. On a side note regarding shells, I had to stop at TJ Max on the way home to get a nice container to put all the shells in. Will include a picture of that later on. First day
Arrived in Sarasota around 6 pm tonight. Bryan, Kate and Marilyn were waiting for me. The GPS lady took us the long way but we eventually arrived at our vacation home for the week. Poised to splash
A summer on the hard is not exactly what we had in mind. Given time constraints for getting to the Bahamas from Charleston and back up to the Chesapeake by June 1 for insurance requirements just didn't work out for us.
