... The ride back to Airlie takes a scenic route and we flew past North Molle, Mid Molle and South Molle Islands at speeds up to 60km. At least coming back we were more riding the waves a little bit.

Jacob had failed to mention that the target audience is really rev heads and young backpackers. We were more than twice the age of most participants but managed to hold our own. I guess the tour's name should have given us a hint: "Jetski Extreme Adventure". Chalk ...

... the day off nicely. Tomorrow will be spent sorting out our **** in readiness for a daytime coach ride to Cairns on Friday. We sorting it a day early as Axelles our Belgian friend is staying in Airlie beach so its the last time we'll see her :/. So the plan is to get very, very drunk on goon before going to one of the local clubs and dancing the night away !! Should be fun. Also means you may not hear much from us till we arrive in Cairns lol.

He actually had a lovely time playing in the pool which is great as he's really ...

... so they were swimming all around us. Hope the go pro shows how amazing it was when we watch it back. Still big it up for my little 20 year old goldfish carrot back home. He's my man. Finally we baby boomeranged over to a little island created only at low tide to watch the sunset. A perfect chilled way to end the trip this evening. Now it's time for me to be a granny and catch some sleep. Definitely first in bed. Night all ...

... back at the Island Gateway caravan park where we've stayed before, but they put us in a different section of the park on a site with a slab made for a much smaller van, and a row of trees right beside us making it very difficult to get our bigger van onsite. After lots of to and froing and some choice words, we finally got in. Don't know why staff at caravan parks ask what size your van is and then allocate a site that is much too small. Very silly, and annoying to their ...
