... where I found what I wanted and bought what I wanted with another salesperson. I departed and walked down through the shop past Ms Mutton Dressed Up as Lamb who was clearly upset with me but put her nose in the air and kept walking past me in the opposite direction without blinking an eye.
We made a few more stops and then headed back to the taxi stand but not before going back to the Markets before giving it a miss ...
... on the outskirts of town.
None of the shops were open, even after our one and a half mile walk
from the ship. The way the streets were
laid out was quite lovely….tiny side alleys so narrow the (already blazing hot)
sun could not get through to us. At 8:30
am it was almost unbearably hot. Even
little little was feeling the heat and opted for a lift in the rucksack rather
than walking along beside us. We
... until 9am which was a first for us for a long, long time! John & I went to "breaky" at Johnny Rockets which had only a small selection. We've been letting the kids sleep in each morning, going off to breaky together so it's a nice bit of ...
... time! So we sit. And we sit. And we wait. Ahhh, everything's ordered. And we sit. And we sit. And we wait. I'm going into the Marketplace with my mug for some tea. Ok. Finally. Food. Now. Where's the check? And we sit. And we sit. And we wait.
Must just be a fluke. I'm sure we'll have better luck tomorrow. With 19 hours so far in this day, time to go back to that nice 2 bedroom villa and the Marriott beds. Day One is in the can. Good night all!
