We all went in and were waiting for our names to be checked in, but there was a huge line and they wouldn't help us without us filling out some forms, which were there, so we put our bags down, asked if we could go and have a look around the hotel, Volkan said ok, so off we all went, we were amazed at the sheer size of the hotel, more like a ...

So lovely!! From there we caught a bus to Cirali/Olympus. We were dropped off at a very basic sort of ...

However, today we walked to the museum and it ...

Today was designed to be a vacation from touring, a day to do whatever you wanted. So I took an early morning walk to the ATM, grocery, and Gloria Jeans; two-hour boat ride; leisurely lunch and dinner in an outdoor cafe; afternoon walk past shops; and sat in the pension garden. The Mediterranean truly is turquoise in color here, the breezes soft, very ...

Breakfast at our hotel was fabulous... everything Turkish plus French toast and omelets. Leaving Konya we headed to the highway which took us through the Taurus Mountains -- very, very steep, many switchbacks close together, 7000 feet at the top with still some snow. After a couple of hours driving uphill, we stopped at Tinaztepe Caves which are uphill from a trout farm and restaurant. Some of the group hiked into the first part of the cave; the rest of us sat in ...
