... was nice. We checked out at 10, caught the 10.45 shuttle in to town, then waited at the bus stop for the bus to arrive, which eventually came at around half 11. The journey here was only around 2 hours along, but seeing as we crossed the border from New South Wales, in to Queensland, we are now an hour behind, so we gained an hour (extra hour using these cool luxury facilities!) Overall, our 5 nights in Byron were superb. We met some great people, had such a ...

We did discuss stuffing the top with tissues but that idea got quickly dismissed by everyone but Anthony. ... opened, so I dashed for cover under the Surf Club.

Having seen 'Summer Bay' I decided it was time to go and find some elevenses, however as the little kiosk was closed it was a bit of a walk back towards town, it was a very picturesque stroll though. A tad too hilly for my liking, but the views got me through, plus I went past some very expensive looking houses. Now I hadn't really figured out (clearly didn't pay enough attention) as to how far town was, after about half ...

I headed to the airport and waited for June, got there a tad early and waited for two hours for her to arrive, maybe I was a bit eager! Finally when she arrived after a 30 hour journey (commitment), we went to collect a rental car and start our two week journey. Firstly we had two nights in Brisbane, booked an apartment for a nice place to settle in to begin with! Very nice indeed. I let June have a little snooze but surprisingly she wasn't too jet lagged! We went for ...
