This week concluded my four-piece heritage puzzle. I have now been to every country, and where possible the town / met family from each of my great grandparents.
In order of appearance:
Gran's dad – Vienna, Austria, I met Elisabeth
Grandad Mullins family - Ireland, met family that everyone else has met haha
Grandad Britton's family – Cork, met lots of family, stayed on the farm where my great grandad grew up on
... rural mountainous view - I like it.
10am Jacqui and I go up to the Pool Bar for the Rep's welcome presentation, learn a few things about the Island and managed to Hire a care for 3 days. Nico will collect me from the Hotel to sort the car out at 3:30 so plenty of time to explore.
... on a hill, we can see it by the lights only.
I think we''re going along the Coast as I'm sure the the different shade of grey we can see is the Sea; which would mean we can see Zakynthos in the distance.
After 40 minutes Julie comes on the PA to say we're nearing Katelios and just around the next bend you will see the Moon over the bay.

... diligently away. Oh such a painstaking process; digging ever so carefully and using the tiny brushes to sweep away the dust. I admire them - don't think I would have the patience!
The mechanic came and went, apparently just a loose wire but we headed back anyway to the workshop where they double checked it. All was apparently OK and the good thing was he gave us an extra day at no cost so we will have the quad bike until ...
We woke up and went to the famous cave in Kefalonia called Melissani cave of the nymphs. This cave is 39m deep, 160m long and 40m wide. It is 16,000 - 20,000 years old We went on a little boat and got to go around the cave. It was so cold. The water was all different colours of blue and green. After that we went to an other famous beach for the day called Skala. We stayed and swam there most of the day. We then left at 4pm to catch a ferry and head back to our house in ...
