Hidden Cyprus
35° 00 N, 33º 00 E. that's Cyprus, one of the few places in the world where you could get a tan on the beach and then within an hour go skiing in the mountains . Smaller in land mass than Jamaica but twice as big as Barbados. Its smallish but feels spacious because it has less townsfolk per square km, than Barbabos
So you can always find a secluded spot and there ...
... which is so near, has changed the whole picture.
About 200 metres at the back of the Church, there were cliffs and a beautiful little river - I used to call it (my little white river) because the rocks were really white and flat and it was so beautiful! Well nothing is here. It is just the highway below with so much noise and cars going by.
What a great disappointment indeed!

Some ...
... in the other part of the city has many restaurants and bars where one can enjoy their meal.
Makenzi is an expensive area, although there are one or two restaurants worth visiting if one wishes to have a dish of fish. Generally speaking, fish in this area is quite expensive. I mean the service might be much better, but still fish is expensive in the area.
THE HALA SULTAN TEKKE
Founded in 649 A.D.
This historic mosque is just 3 km west of Larnaca very near the airport terminal on the central salt lake.
Um Haram who was the Aunt of Prophet Mohamed died here as a result of an accident.
This mosque is now considered to be the fourth most important religious ...
... day of my trip to Cyprus by Angela my cousin. It was dark however the time we reached here, and the photos were not the best, So I had to visit Kiti village again the following day with the help of Lefteris this time who drove me here, and to some other spots in Larnaca. I want to ...
Larnaca, Larnaca, Cyprus greekcypriot... call SUVLAKIA.
Well, while walking and staring at the wonderful buildings a friend of mine saw a sign in a shop window.
The sign goes like this: We sell the air of this building

... My life –a wonderful trip!!!
If I were asked to change something in my life, I would strongly answer "No, I would never change anything, but for the war in 1974".
WORST MOMENTS- Injustice.
Unfortunately , since July 1974 a significant part of the island’s cultural heritage is under Turkish occupation ...
... I will admit I know nothing about the bible so here goes my attempt to explain this church...it is built over what is supposedly Lazarus's tomb. This is the Lazareth of Bethany who Jesus rose from the dead and who fled to Cyprus. Anything more...don't ask me...I am just going off what I read at the church and I am not even sure if I got it half right. But it sounds good, right? I hadn't even heard of any of this until I read it myself when poking ...
Larnaca, Cyprus atlpilot36... tacky racy lingerie, all proudly displayed on clear plastic hangers. It's like the perfect dessert after shopping for your pleasures in Billa. Maybe our friend from Finland could stop by Sofia on her way home and try out her newfound "prettiness" as she called it.
I've left all that shopping madness behind and have made it to Larnaca, Cypress. I've got plenty of time here to explore and see what this desert island has to offer.
All packing and cleaning is underway !!! Only 36 or so hours left before we hit the tarmac at Larnaca !! Just need to get the dog wormed and de-flead (not that he has them !), groomed and then buy him a travel box for the flight !
Fingers crossed all our accommodation arrangements have been made for Athens and Samothraki !
