    ... humid) and we were on the way to Destin which was halfway between Clearwater and New Orleans. It was a 6 hour drive so I wasn't particularly looking forward to it... Clearwater was a great stop, it was fun having the dog and good company in the apartment and the beach was ok. It probably was a bit too touristy for me. Beautiful inside, much newer than the other places we looked at, being sold furnished, lovely grounds, across the street from a beautiful club house and pool.
