Keen to check out the beach we walked down the strip past the amusements and attractions, including an upside down house that had been converted into an amusement arcade. ... at $100 per night. Cable and WiFi additional charge. Not worth it. Beach was nice - but living where we do, we see a lot of beaches. Typical surrounding area of T-shirt and tattoo places, and restaurants. Much better place to spend some time than the Big Oak!

... an included dinner at a German restaurant. Had some Salmon which was Delicous!
we had a small pool party at the hotel, was rather nice and low key. We were in bed earlier then normal which was nice. Off to Orlando for a big day at Universal studios and Harry Potter world!

Its always sad to leave a vacation at the end of the week. We didn't really worry about how the ride down would go, we knew we would be tired but we figured it was the best solution for little miss, the ride home on the other hand scared the living heck out of me.
