      ... thunderstorms and lightning. This morning, in between thunderstorms, we went out for a 3 mile walk through the slash pine forest, white sand dunes and along the beach. See photos. We returned just in time before another thunderstorm which featured close lightning, momentary loss of power (thank you surge protector) and torrential downpour.       ... in time change. I was so thankful that the time change happened on the drive home though and not on the way to Destin as I had originally thought. We also hit a lot of rain to the point where I could hardly see where I was going. It was bad. I was glad to make it home safe and sound after white knuckling the steering wheel for hours.
