... we head for Civitavecchia to board cruise ship. We will probably take an open air bus to get a flavor of the city tomorrow and plan our excursions from there based off what we see. Friday AM we have a private tour in the Vatican and St Peter's Basilica, et al. Should be fun!

Panama City Beach has a very special place in my heart.. I've grown up down there spending summers, spring breaks, vacations, and holidays down there! I know this place like the back of my hand. A young fat girl next to us had never fished before and was bringing up fish after fish, all decent. Until she somehow caught the hook in her hand and panicked, yanking the rod, burying it further in. Amusing to watch because of the sheer stupidity. Drove ...

Feeling worst for wear this morning. The $5 fish-bowls were really paying a toll. Slumped out of bed, rolling into a diner. Feasted on bacon and eggs, whilst reminiscing of last night, looking at all the funny photos. Eventually left New Orleans, feeling a bit sad, a great city, keen to come back for Mardi Gras! We drove onto Panama City Beach famous for its Spring Break parties. The drive felt like a 100 hours. Arrived early ...
