There are so many people that smoke and I just can’t stand it!.

We visited a haunted house and the people that live there only stay in one part of the house. Kind of weird, don’t you think?

We have dinner at 9:00pm and that is way past my bed time. Im a bit crap really

Feél a bit rubbish as Ive not updated this for a bit, so will try and condense adventures so as not to bore the audience! Anyway..I ALWAYS get bored first!

Contrary to my fears, met up with a small but lovely group of people in Santiago after saying Bon Voyage to Karon and Imogen (of Lake Titikaka adventures)..after a particularly strange tour to Valapariso with a drunk germoan tour guide. Don´t cry for me Argentina!!

... look round the shops and then enjoyed dinner which was a huge steak from the butchers for about 2 quid!

The following day we headed out to Puerto Madero, the up and coming area in Buenos Aires. A bit like the Albert Dock (just about 3 times bigger) all the old warehouse buildings along port have been transformed in to plush restaurants and shops, and new skyscraper buildings are home to new offices and swish flats.

That night we ...

... of wine in a restaurant that only got busy at 10.00pm. Weird fact....on the bill they charged us over a pound each for the plate and cutlery, Brazil we had to pay 2 pound each on our food bill for the live music. When ordering you only get the meat everything else is extra and they rarely eat veggies. Flew from Buenas Airies to Bariloche, Argentina's Lake District (Patagonia).......amazingly our room had a view over the lake so we loved it already. Made ...

... at the coffee shop that I had frequented on our first trip to Buenos Aires - Jim used the internet - and by this time we were ready to head to San Telmo to have lunch at La Brigada - another favorite restaurant of ours. We arrived at La Brigada - the table that we have sat at in the past was available but apparently reserved - and although I tried to tell them that that was our table - apparently it also happens to be the table of the owner - because he ...

From Goodbye Waves to Runways to Buenos Aires

... plane with my backpack and moccasins and he shot me this look that made it clear that I wouldn't really blend so well in first class.. but what croc-skin boot man didn't know was that I only paid $300 for my ticket compared to the $2349832409284.90 that he paid. Sucker. Anyways, after unlimited drinks and a four course meal on the plane, I woke up when the plane was about an hour outside of the Buenos Aires airport. After locating my bright blue ...

... got the sleeping bag I left behind in Rio back. Then I returned the camera (which was the biggest piece of **** I've ever known) I bought 5 days earlier, grabbed a ticket for Rio Gallegos and did some shopping. A mostly boring but completely necessary day getting things done. Left for Rio Gallegos that night.

We then walked about a mile through the beautiful residential neighborhood of Recoleta. It's full of lovely homes ...
