    ... we're rolling down the highway and into the city. The road tunnels are all still flooded so we have to take the slow route through the suburban traffic.

    It's now late morning, and Peter and I will need to do some smooth talking to avoid extra charges back at the place they were supposed to stay last night but hey, we’ve conquered a natural disaster and two big breakfast in less than 24 hours so we’re ready.

    ... altogether today we have walked for about 4 hours, and walked so many hills, so without surprise we are pretty tired. We also had to walk to the supermarket again, so another hill. But our dinner went down a treat as we were starving. Overall, it's been a brilliant day!! We will sleep well tonight. And tomorrow morning we are heading up to Rainbow beach to Dingos hostel, in preparation for Fraser Island the next day!!!!! Can't wait for ...

We even managed to make it to a tiger show in the afternoon which was really amazing to see the tiger do what it is naturally able to do in the wild- such as climb trees and jump up high and far.
