... even caught a couple waves on my own! After realizing how exhausted my body was, I decided just to lay on my board in the water (the temperature of the water is the same as the air) and watch the sunset. Sunets here are absolutely stunning and even more so from the water.

... Our teacher Christian was good at helping me get through the waves as I was a bit scared at first. Once I'd experienced being hit and dragged by the board a few times I realised it didn't hurt much. I managed to stand up on my second attempt and every time after which I was delighted about as I'd never done it before. ... not finished as a dive master, is my snorkel test. I'd set it for 7 knowing that everyone would probably turn up around 8 but Martin told me unless it was at 7 he wasn't coming. ... and we couldn't get it to work at all. 3 blenders down. I then saw that our Canadian neighbour across from us was home and I knew he liked to drink so I went over to see if he had a blender.
