    because of the lack of economic opportunities in Mexico....

A representative from Rancho Toyan was there and explained the organic movement and certification of the San Miguel farm. Rancho Toyan is the only certified organic farm in San Miguel, and one of a very few in Mexico. I hope to visit it before we leave! Katie was proud of her volunteer work, as she should have been.. ...
