... we went for dinner and a couple of drinks at an Irish pub, saw a show with the group and then enjoyed a few more drinkies with them all. Gaz and I left at 11am so we could make the last ferry and get a good nights sleep. Tomorrow we have a day exploring Amsterdam - with a cycling tour in the afternoon with the group. We made a good dent in Amsterdam so far. Yesterday (Sunday) we started the day with a segway tour of Amsterdam. We love this method of touring, and despite the required helmets and corny blue smocks, we had a blast. It was a great way to see the sights you can't see from the canal tour. ... cafe near the Bloemenmarkt in Muntplein. The flower market itself was extraordinarily beautiful, I can't imagine how much better the tulips must look when I head back to Amsterdam in May. The cool thing about this market however is that it is the world's only floating flower market!

... had about two hours to waste until we had to head to the airport so we chose the Van Gogh museum from a bunch of museum options and went and hung out there. It's the largest collection of Van Gogh paintings in the world so it was nice to see it all without the annoyance that we had in the MoMA when there's usually just one big painting present. We eventually left, I was dragged away because I wanted to buy stuff in the shop... It was a pretty good little museum and a good finish to the trip!
