... and mountainous, manly vegetated by conifers or sheoak-type trees. The water is typical Med - crystal clear.

I plan to stay in Marmaris until Saturday, then go to Fethiye to look at another boat. I have no idea how long I will stay here in Turkey; it depends on several things. Here are just a few pix that I took while having lunch today at the marina. Love and best wishes to all.

A day on Crete, enjoying great mild weather, some 4,000 year old culture, fruits of the forest, home made wine and our first ever swim in the Mediterranean. Not a bad life. Today we are in Marmaris. The weather is beautiful today, much warner than it has been. It is supposed to gout to 79 today, but it is always cool in the morning.

Today we are taking a bus ride of 1.5 hours to historic Dalyan. This is an ancient city located on the Dalyan river. This river meanders from Koycegiz Lake down to the ocean. On the way it passes through large ...

... corner who cooked me a very nice mince meat flat bread. Just after lunch the rain started, very heavy with loud thunder thrown in. The hotel had a power cut. They got the lifts going again fairly swiftly but wifi was out for the day. After the downpour we walked up to the old village which was much quieter but more run down. They really do have chickens in all the back yards. After our stroll we had an hour in the sun by the pool then it was waffle time. ...
