... floral displays and their conveniences deserve their "rating" stations which you cannot but vote "Excellent."
An interesting aspect of the airport is that people in transit or workers sleep in the most unusual places. Before we grabbed a quick bite of breakfast we checked out the airport bus. The booth was full of airport workers sleeping..... 5 in fact. When we went back just before 7 am all but two had fully ...

... were all Asian having afternoon tea and cake. We went and sat out on the roof top, it was a kind of marquee/large covered area for eating with a big round bar in it sat right in the middle of the marina surrounded by the larger more grand looking buildings, would be perfect for a big party, it also had a couple of jacuzzis and a decent swimming pool. Also note for if we should ever win the lottery what a spot to watch the F1 the other bars were much taller so with this one you ...

After refuelling at a coffee brewery we hopped back on the MRT to Marina Bay to the ...

... with some representative of trees no longer seen in Singapore and Malaysia. On the wildlife front we saw a large lizard swimming in one lake and literally hundreds of turtles in another. There were a couple of pretty striped squirrels to watch, along side some interesting bird life and a few butterflies. The orchid garden was wonderful. They breed them there and name them as and when important people visited. Princess Diana has one as also does Margaret Thatcher! We ended ...

Day 77 - Singapore then Overnight Flight

... Leopard, Pygamy Hippo and the king of the Jungle and my all time favourite animal 'The Zebra', I love them. The zoo was massive and all the animals were kept in really large areas. It was amazing BUT there was one problem, I had come to see the Giant Pandas. This is where there became a problem because what I didn't realise was that there was 2 parks next to each other, Singapore Zoo and Singapore River Safari, I had come to the Zoo and the Pandas were ...
