... some time. The ship was wonderful but a bit boring as per my review on Cruise Critic. At £60pppn these cruises are a great way of travelling in the area, staying in nice accommodation, eating great food, watching some entertainment and not having to plan much. I appreciated this ease of travel and not having to get up early to catch an 8 hour bus etc, also one of the only holidays where I have arrived back home and not REALLY missed our bed.

In our area of South Beach, where incidentally, Miami Vice was filmed, there are some beautiful late Art Deco buildings which have been carefully preserved. Many of these hotels have deep shaded verandahs onto the street, and are now bars and restaurants. On Ocean Drive these restaurants run for several blocks, with tables all along the footpaths.
