Wanted to see somewhere else in Serbia before crossing into Kosovo and various reviews said Nis was nice so thought i'd give it the benefit of the doubt. ... lucky enough to have some friends in the neighbourhood and they took us to small, non-touristic restaurant, in which we enjoyed juicy grilled meat, hot peppers and beaten chilli white cheese (quite reddish from all the chilli...).
After our great lunch, we started our trip to Belgrade, the Balkan capital with the best nightlife in the region and as it turned out, it would live up our expectations.
