As the concert ended and I headed up to the Windjammer for lunch a flood of people was streaming down the stairs. I'm not sure if the men's belly flop went to conclusion or was cut short but it ended with a flood of rain. Some people coming down the stairs were showing obvious red areas from the competition.

... At this point it is rather too late in the journey to call it off, so one has to assume the hull builder's have met the sturdiness and seaworthy factors of safety. Seeing all that rusty scabs the size of paper plates hanging loose on the hull was a bit disconcerting at the time though. So far the seas and waves had been minimal coming from the Gulf to the Bahamas. Would our luck hold out?
We skipped the exercising this morning, as this was the only port that we actually booked an excursion. I normally try to avoid paying the ship's prices for excursions, as they mark them up a lot. I booked through the cruise line here, though, since the ship docks in an industrial area away from anything worth seeing and also, because of the short time here, I wasn’t going to take a chance on getting delayed getting back to the ship.
