... cold ones. Craig managed to get himself into a party mood, but it was absolutely lovely just sitting outside with the scrub virtually right in your backdoor.

Craig decided that this was going to be his party night, so not long after coming home, decided to get dropped off at Shena****ns (Irish pub of course) and we were pretty sure he would enjoy himself.

Quiet night for all of us, but the funniest thing happened at the house. Chris was cranky ...

Also in Darwin were the Australian, US, New Zealand and Indonesian Air Forces undertaking joint exercises. There weren't too many people around at the station. ...

An easier day today. Paul and I had a morning walk along the foreshore to the Nightcliff Jetty and back. The sea was still and flat but in the distance along the coast we could see about 20 stand-up paddleboarders all trying to catch one tiny little wave. The sun was coming up and highlighting the colours in the cliffs along the shore, and there were quite a few birds around including a small flock of double-barred finches chattering away. Lots of people out walking ...

... ie illegal but who cares) by the ski club ( they travel 50klms to Manton Dam to ski) and got up to the oval just in time for the show. What a night it was absolutely insane. The official show lasted 20 mins but then everyone got stuck into they on show. down by the ski club you have a view all around the main part of the harbour and there were fireworks everywhere for the next 3 hours. There were maybe 100 people or more near ...
