    Horses, Geckos, and Frogs - Oh my!

    ... horses and that we would have to kick them to make them go faster. Neither one of us were okay with that option. So, as expected, we were behind the pack the entire time. We were also told not to let the horses snack or drink water on the trip. That lasted about 5 minutes. My horse followed Evie’s horse and did whatever Evie’s horse wanted to do, including going on a different trail than the guide.

    Today we had a great ride on the new bike trail in Dunnellon with our friends Trish and Steve. It's a total of 5 miles through the forest. So beautiful. The Florida beauty many tourist don't get to see. After, we all met Lynn and Larry at Swampy's on the Rainbow River for lunch.

    Our first stop on our trip is Nature Coast Landings RV Resort in Crystal River. Many of our friends from when we lived here have not yet left for the summer so we are having fun visiting with them. Rocky got his hair cut for the summer. We didn't realize how big his ears were! Looking forward to our stay here at our old home.

    ... places and two art studios. one of them has a pottery studio in the back, I didn't discover it till two days before we left so I was not able to use it. but..... like Jekyll island this is a place I could stay at for a few months. many people from the north do winter here. as far as i'm concerned,cedar key is quintessential charming. the last day we were here we took a boat trip to some of the islands around. it was a fogg day but started to clear up ...
