After our disastrous inland trip to avoid the rush on the Gold Coast, it was finally time to face our fears and confront the monster that is the Gold Coast during the school holidays. I am not sure if I have already mentioned this but the summer holidays in Australia run for 6 weeks during December and January. We were particularly unlucky as Queensland holidays start 2 weeks before NSW and NSW finish 2 weeks later so in all we had to endure 8 weeks of school ...

... covered dried bananas but 2 scoops of them would've cost me $11!! So I got some chocolate covered peanuts for $1 and a few chocolate covered strawberries. We went to Burleigh Beach for a bit while Saul went for a dip in the water. Chris and instructions

We took our empty Sprinter down to see Chris today and get some feedback on our ideas and what we need to do.

Chris spent two hours discussing everything and sent us packing with information ringing in our ears.

We have established that we will
-complete the wiring and the solar system installation.
    -install the ADR extra seating
    -install bathroom
    -install new front door
    -install water tanks

That should keep us 'amused' for a bit.

... playground for a couple of hours followed by a bit of shopping and then back home for when Mel and Mia arrived for a four day visit.

As Mia is one of Charlie’s BFFs the reunion after three months of not seeing each other was pretty cute. There were loads of hugs and a whole heap of excitement both from Charlie and Seth. It took a while for all of them to get to sleep that night.

... tunnel before bring you outside and shooting you up vertically before falling down forwards and back in the tunnel... We did this ride quite a few times (even having a second go straight away as there wasn't that many people in the queue). We went around the rest of the park and went on most of the rides (excluding some of the kids ones). Pandemonium was not very nice, very very spinny. There was also a ride called buzz saw which was fun but after 2 go's in a row a headache did kick ...
