... here whilst we were there. We had a drink at the opera house outdoor bar on the harbour before boarding a ferry to Manly. Manly is a suburb to the north. It sits on a small strip of land separating the ocean from the harbour. The ferry ride across is a highlight on its own as it gives you great views of the bridge and opera house from the water. ... Running around to pick up loose items and throw the beach towels over the car, my hard work paid off, with no damage evident. The hail was about the size of a 10 cent piece, and lasted about 5 minutes. What fun. Last night we were promised a fresh southerly change after our 30 degree day with norther lies. I decided to batten down the hatches a little with it expected to be 25 knots of wind coming. All the anti flap kit and poles were fitted, but it was nothing ...

... in holiday mode! Anyway, we made it and Kam had made a platter of scrumptious sandwiches which we all devoured. They are soon flying off to Fiji for a little holiday, so we might not get to see them again until Christmas time, and that is only if they get down to Tassie. We hope so. Finally arrived at Surfers mid afternoon and quickly settled into the Caravan Park. While I was in Reception, Paul and Lisa were ...
