Yesterday, we moved to a campground just north of Naples, FL.
A strong cold front came through starting the night before we left Key West, so we had pretty strong winds blowing at us most of the way up.
This morning we woke up to temps in the upper 40's and a little breeze so the wind chill was cold especially after all the warm weather we have had.

... Miami around 12pm and within 3 hours arrived at our hotel (http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/ rswch-courtyard-fort-myers-cape-coral/) in Fort Myers.
We had a couple of hours to kill before we had to check-in at the Seminole Gulf Railway Station. The train departs promptly at 6:30 pm (5:30 pm on Sundays).

On our way back through Sanibel we stopped at the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife - so much more than an animal hospital, and even got to see a baby possum called Stanley (Alex wanted to take him home but they wouldn't let him). It is interesting to note however that when we mentioned our excellent meal to the owner at Sea Shells Seashells the next day while shopping, she noted that we must have caught them on a good day. Or perhaps maybe the standards of living and expectations on the islands are much higher indeed.

I haven't read all the particulars about Obama's plan to rein in college expenses and I really should before I comment publicly. And people want a new and better strategy to deal with costs. Obama's new plan is seemingly to have the government rank colleges on new criteria so that we get more value from what we spend there. That got a lot of applause. But should ...
