    After a proper good sleep, we got up around half 9. We had some breakfast and a shower and made the short walk to Bunning's to pick up the car from Teresa. We headed off to Noosa Junction to pay our wages into the Commonwealth bank! It was a beautiful day, very warm and sunny!     ... no wonder the backpacker crowd here is joined by a wealthier jet set audience. The walk took us 3.5h and with all the hills my legs felt as if I had just ran the Antwerp 10 miles, coming out of the Konijnenpijp (ahh, 't stad...). Good thing it was "All you can eat pizza night" in the hostel! I guess I'll spend rest of the evening in the couch watching movies so I can be fresh in Brisbane tomorrow. We'll likely meet up with some old friends so that's looking very promising!

    ... sand bars that go every where that you can walk out on that are about knee deep. The beach is a popular one as families, kids, dogs, and boaters come and dock on to enjoy the sand and shallow waters. After spending an hour on the beach we headed into town to enjoy the streets for a bit. At around 3:30pm we headed back to Alexandra Heads where we played in the pool again for a bit before heading out to dinner.

After enjoying our patio style dinner in shorts and a t-shirt while Janessa had a summer dress on, we headed back to the hotel around 9 ready for bed (as we are 2 hours behind NZ now, 7 hours behind Calgary). We got back and settled in the bed with the AC on as its still about 25 degrees outside with the sun down.
