... homes dotting the surrounds we spot a wallaby sitting in the grass eating. Soon another, and another and before long there are more than we can count. This makes our initial siting laughable. No shortage of subjects to capture on film. A mother and joey are sitting peacefully outside our front door munching on the green grasses while her friends all sleep nearby. The grass is soft and plush and if not for the wallaby poo we would have joined them as they relaxed ...

Drue and I hung around to wait for a big order of milk, which didn't take too long, but let's just say it didn't go exactly to plan. After rolling our eyes plenty of times we got some sort of plan together. On the way back we called in at Amart as the guys had put an order in for some furniture for the cafe. Well the plan today was to just ride the 24 min ride to Scott and Danielle's, and then camp there for two days. My gut still didn't like the idea of sitting still for two more days. I called ahead to Bundaburg Harley Davidson so see if they could get me in Monday so I could at least get some km done.... But they were full up until Tuesday. That sat a bit better with me... Stay at Scott's for a day then leave Sunday and wander up to Bundaburg. Packed up and checked out. ...
