Today was picture perfect moment on the water in St Augustine Florida. Not a lot of tourist to fight in lines and easy to find the boat. As I purchased my tickets at the city Marina we quickly boarded the Captain Jack light house ferry. The boat clean, safe and very comfortable for my mother. They had wine, beer, and sodas onboard. ... as "The Oldest House." It is the oldest surviving Spanish Colonial dwelling in Florida. The site has been occupied since the 1600s and the present house dates to the early 1700s.
It was a long day, but we saw a lot and learned a lot about the history of St Augustine. Tomorrow is a travel day to Brunswick, Georgia. We will be stopping at The Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge en route for lunch and a boat ride.
