Tuesday we are off to Cocoa Beach to visit cousin Maureen till Feb 1.Oh, and some free advice, don't attend the Royal Floridian time share presentation. We got 2 free nights here next year but it was really hard work. Rick you would have been really proud of Annette. She will give you a first hand account in a few weeks.

One day we went for a walk around the area and found this really cool street with old oak trees and it was designated a scenic drive so it was busy with traffic. There was some kind of competition with the seadoo kind of machines. The weather is nice, but the wind makes it cooler than you would think.

We had to set up in the rain and our planned bbq ended up being a pan fry. Of course that got the fire alarm going so that battery was removed! Oh well! We'll put it back before we head out again. :-)

... he likes the challenge of learning something new too. After we found the right battery and ordered it we drove through Jacksonville to get to the A1A. Jacksonville seems to be a very working class city and as it was Sunday, the streets were very very quiet. It took awhile to make our way through the streets but we managed to get through Jacksonville and onto the A1A. I suggest if you ever drive down the east coast of Florida and have time on your hands ...
