... we visited 3 nights out of four! At

... out before the start of a busy week ahead. For dinner we visited The Marlin Bar and ordered Spanish-style prawns cooked in garlic, chilli and a lemony oil. They came in a little iron pot drenched in their juices and tasted as fresh as they looked on the plate. Back at the hostel we joined an Aussie team to play Trivia with the others congregated around the bar. Due to our amazing general knowledge as a collective, we came joint 2nd! ... Balgal Beach was gorgeous, and we couldn’t believe you are able to stay here for 48hrs free, as all that was between the beach and us was a gorgeous park that became the popular place for happy hour in the afternoon.

There was also a kids play area, which kept Jackson busy, especially as he met a little girl by the name to Alice to entertain him. Ethan on the other hand kept me busy running out the park ...

... you get free accomodation and free food. In most cases you are staying with an actual family and helping out on their farm. We had initially searched for places around Townsville but then one near Brisbane caught our eye and we applied for it and were successful. This morning I was shattered but had work at 10am :( Luckily there was no function so we polished cutlery and glasses and then set up the ballroom. We finished at 4.30pm and I got a lift home to get ready for dinner. Mel picked me up at 6.30pm and drove me to theirs where we picked up Megan and Mel and drove to Nandos.
