      ... the beaches which kind of sucked, although still went for a little paddle!.

      Apart from that i've had a relatively chilled out day!, and in fairness i'm really gutted to be leaving Dubai tomorrow as its one of the nicest cities i've ever been too. Everyone is so friendly here, everywhere is crystal clean and theres so much to do here that you'd never become bored!. I could quite happily move here ...

      ... yes Jackie I know you find it hard to believe) but there was no pressure and the openness and cleanness won me over. I even bought a clock for my desk at home. Now I have to get it posted somehow.

      John and Kate bought shirts and a singlet from H&M stores and Adidas.

      Before leaving we also visited the Indoor Ski Resort within the Mall. This is unreal and a great place to visit. The Ski Area is 22,500 sqm and was opened in 2005 and has a full ...

      ... In the evening we went to the Dubai Mall. This is a very popular mall with all the top designers and labels as well as a ski slope and ice skating rink (as you do in the desert). From the "when in Rome..." category I sampled a McArabia from MacDonalds. Ruby and I went ice skating while Dawn and Emily shopped.       ... in high esteem by all who live and work in Dubai.

      We visited the Dubai Museum, took the obligatory ride across the Dubai Creek in an Abra to the Gold and Spice Souk area for look. Helen and I had covered this area on our first day there, which was good because with the tour group it was a quick trip and a short time to wander around. Some of us bought some nice jewellery!

      It was a good way to cool down as the temp was in the mid 40's.

      After drying off a little it was back to the Mall Of The Emirates to get something to eat before trying to get an early night as we have an early flight tomorrow.
