The Palm Jumeirah looks like a palm and is an artificial archipelago in the Persian Gulf of Dubai'sa shore and can be reached by road or by monorail. We had to takew the metro, tram and finally the 5.4 km long monorail to get to the top of the palmz also where the Atlantis Hotel is. As a visitor you can only visit a very small part of this hotel.

We walked through Dubai Marina to get to Oscar and Uncle Owen. It was very strange to see Christmas trees right underneath the palm trees outside the restaurants.
We had a glass of champagne while we watched Oscar open his present.

Enough for now. It’s pretty pathetic blogging in flight when there are so much more to do like looking around, going to the toilet/closet, sleeping etc etc.
