    ... load I have ever taken on a lengthy holiday! I do hope I can manage without the items I removed at the last minute (e.g., my inflatable mattress that has come in handy on occasions where we've struck hard beds!!!). Time will tell!

    ... night on Sheikh Zide Road we wanted a more relaxed night tonight, so an Irish bar was the obvious choice! McGettigan's has live bands, Irish staff and cognac - a perfect way to kick off the weekend which in Dubai are Thursday to Saturday.
