The first proper Aussie winters day that we had been warned about. It was windy, cold and the sun was hiding way back behind the clouds. This ruined our surfing plans so we chose plan B instead. One of the main reasons I chose the hostel was because my guidebook had said that they had a resident parrot called Cheeky!
