... in the deep, unplowed snow! Much to our amazement, we only encountered one vehicle coming towards us, near the entrance to our subdivision. They backed out to Berry Rd, allowed us through and we were officially on the road, no longer snowbound, but rather southbound! This is our first trip with the cat, Checkers. ... were stuffed, but beautiful non the less.  Birds are flighty, no pun intended, and you rarely get to see them up close.  There are some incredibly beautiful birds, but I am partial to the snowy owl and the bald eagle.  Both are majestic birds. I did this partially because I got the tickets from a Notre Dame fan, partially because I don't have a Michigan shirt, and partially because I wanted to see how the Michigan fans would treat the Notre Dame fans. Back in the States

... caramel macchiato they offered. It was just what I needed. Although I was planning on writing while I was there, I realized that I had left my laptop at the hotel, so in turn; I got to mingle with the locals. I met some very nice people who told me about the area and what there is to do here. We also swapped some hilarious stories from our lives. It was a really great time.
