    Stopped off at a cute little town called Gruene on the way to Austin (most of the towns round here were settled by Germans). Saw a chameleon! The waitress wasn't as excited as we were, but was very nice and didn't look at us weirdly.     Last night I got to exploring the "default" party scene in Austin, consisting of a few blocks of sixths street which are closed to cars on Friday and Saturday nights.
