Lucy’s Fried Chicken came highly recommended and it was walking distance from their place so that was our destination. Day 1 in Austin began with a short bus ride down South Congress St to an area known for it's unusual, hipster shopping & food. I highly recommend South Congress Cafe, in my opinion the best brunch of the whole trip so far!! Amy's idea but could not replicate its funkiness and we are a big fan of
small local business so it was our job to support Amy's as much as
we could over the week. The next day Kara and Courtney had a girls date
featuring manny peddies with Alex, a nice lunch and limited shopping.
