... out a couple of the clubs on the more frequented area of 6th Street on my way home.

Now for the highlight of my visit - the Cathedral of Junk. As my only pre-arranged itinerary item (you have to call ahead since it's a personal project executed in someone's backyard), I had to make a bit of a trek along the bus 10 route but it was well worth it. I highly recommend South Congress Cafe, in my opinion the best brunch of the whole trip so far!! Browsed through many interesting shops, lots of vintage boutiques & jewellery stores & oddities & antiques shops. Lots of old and/or weird artifacts, stuffed animals & halloween costumes. And boots of course, ...

Amy's idea but could not replicate its funkiness and we are a big fan of
small local business so it was our job to support Amy's as much as
we could over the week. The next day Kara and Courtney had a girls date
featuring manny peddies with Alex, a nice lunch and limited shopping.
The kids and I headed to New Braunfels to go rafting on the Guadalupe.
