It's hard to believe that in 48 hours I will be on a plane headed for my first European adventure that will be an approximate total of at least over 11,000 miles! I know that isn't quite a big deal. I've met many people in my travels who have been "across the pond". However, I don't know many that have had an itinerary like this.

... Factory has quite an impressive main meal section too however the portions are gigantic and so we ordered a herb encrusted salmon salad to share, which did not seem to impress out waitress in the least. The salmon was excellent, and as a reward for eating so healthy we treated ourselves to the red velvet cheesecake. This was beyond rich! And between us we didn't even make it halfway into the piece before admitting defeat.

Flight 1 to Charlotte

We were a little rushed this morning, however got to the airport in plenty of time which meant once we were checked in, we could relax and have some breakfast. The lady in check-in was wonderful too, confirming both flights with us, and we didn't have to pay any baggage fees which we thought we might.

Unfortunately for Suz, she had started to feel a little unwell the night before so was a little concerned about her blocked ears for the upcoming 2 flights. ...
