Stayed over in Charlotte last night. It was our first experience with AirBNB and it went well. Jonathan and his partner were very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. On the other hand our flight experience was not nearly as good. USAir/American Airlines really screwed the pooch. They were asking for volunteers to give up seats and we decided ...

... a young man informed us that the elevator was out of service again and would I have trouble walking down. They did offer to take me down in a stretcher and I was tempted but said no and we climbed down. Not too bad and had some good views.

Drove over into North Carolina and camped at the Kings Mountain National Monument Park where we camped at a great spot. There had been a battle here – a turning point against the British in the Revolutionary ...

The band split up in 77 and we all went our separate ways. Guitarist, Micky Llewellyn, went on to join Mr Big and recently made a name for himself ...

Charlotte, haven't I met you before

... explain where we were. But by the time I had got there the TGI staff had been out to the car park and told them to go across the road.

We set up in a place called Chilli's. Great place, great food with a wide variety. Afterwards we went home and prepared for our last game of the tour.

Have fun, because you know I will be.

P.S. No photos taken today, too busy driving and shopping.
